Inclusive Campus Life wins Gouden Prokkel prize
Inclusive Campus Life has won the Prokkel Prize (award for inclusive practices) as one of the 400 projects that participated this year, in the category "UN Convention / Human Rights". The jury was impressed by the inclusiveness (real participation of persons with intellectual disabilities, no tokenism) and the intensity of encounters made possible between people with and without an intellectual disability.

'Socially Ingenious' in UkraineThomas More's 'Socially Ingenious' weekend had a successor in Ukraine during the weekend of May 11-12. ICT students learned to develop a tool together with people with an intellectual disability, who also were the client ordering the solution. This project was organized in the context of Inclusive Campus Life and KA107 (exchange between Thomas More Social Work and the Ukrainian Catholic University).

Mobile shop Thomas More University of Applied Sciences big step towards first fully inclusive campus
Thomas More University of Applied Sciences opened on May 24 its new project within IC Life (Inclusive Campus Life). This project is a unique collaboration between the departments of Social work, ICT and Construction of the university and with generous funding from the OCMW Geel. Socially vulnerable target groups (in particular people with disabilities) sell their goods together with nine social partner organizations in a specially tailored mobile shop. The aim of this project is to achieve boundary-breaking inclusiveness inside and outside the campus.
